DropSend for Sell
Still can’t believe it, but yep DropSend is up for sale. So far lot of the interest has been on why Carson Systems is selling if it’s profitable and requires little maintenance.
I’m more interested in what this means for the industry. Will we see more services going on sell instead of waiting to be picked up?

I really like dropsend and wish him well with the sale. But, I reckon the sale is mainly because of market saturation.
it must be hard to promote an app in a market everybody is fighting for. In the podcast @ the future of webapps, he said they probably would’nt of built drop send if they had done any market testing.
I moved over to using AOL’s Xdrive again (I used it a uni back in 98-99 with 5mb free storage) a few weeks ago becuase it upped its limits to 5gb free space with really tight desktop intergration.
