I feel your pain. All these issues need to be addressed.

Tinic explains the Flash Player’s two new window modes. Lets hope the GPU feature is not abused by developers.

What to expect from the new protocal.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. I’ve stated the same facts to Steve so many times before when we debate the whole PS3 vs Wii.

Re: Teens Love PlayStation 3
I’d argue the main reason teens love the PS3 is down of the halo effect from the PS2. If the PS3 has the lowest penetration rate but is achieving the most love then it doesn’t make sense; the PS3 can’t be winning hearts purely down to the quality of its games (yet). The PS3 will get exclusive titles of its own but in the meantime it’s struggling to keep up with the quality of 360 ports. That’ll work itself out once developers learn how to properly code for the console (typically taking a couple of years).
I’ve nothing against Sony or the PS3; I’m sure I’ll get one eventually and I still love my PS2, but there’s a reason Nintendo gamers have a reputation for being faithful; it’s because of the fond memories they have of classic titles from previous generations of Nintendo consoles. That’s why Nintendo release so many sequels and have so many different character franchises that live on through console generations.
I would’ve actually bought a PS3 if ProEvo was supposed to be better than the 360 version this year. As it turned out, all versions (bar the Wii version) are very average, with the Wii version offering something different. The best version of ProEvo WOULD be the killer title to tip me over the edge on whatever platform, however, the best version in my opinion is still ProEvo6 on the PS2. That version plays like digital crack. If the Sony/Konami combo work that out this year then they’ll both be getting my money.
